Zanzibella Hotel & SPA er staðsett í Kiwengwa, 41 km frá Peace Memorial Museum, og býður upp á gistingu með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. The hotel, the rooms, and all facilities were absolutely stunning, clean and well maintained. The pool alongside the bar as well as all the amenities on the beach are super pleasant. The breakfast selection is amazing with a lot of choice and variety. It is true there are quite some flies on the outside tables downstairs in the morning, but no problem at all upstairs or inside (and nothing much the hotel or anyone can do about flies in this type of climate and environment!). The restaurant has a great set menu as well as new daily offers every day. The food quality was great. I could recommend to get the half or full board deal as there aren’t a lot of places to go eat around the hotel - and the choice at the hotel is great. The hotel offers multiple guided tours which can be easily booked from one day to another, as well as free bikes and paddle board rentals which we very much enjoyed. They also organize different events / shows every few evenings (African Dancers, Maasai show, local band..) - amazing ! Finally the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, and made the stay so enjoyable until the end! I would absolutely recommend Zanzibella to anyone travelling to Kiwengwa and wanting to enjoy some peaceful relaxing time at the beach :)

Babalao Bungalows has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Nungwi. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a terrace and a bar. Everything. It is a really nice and quiet place. Very beautiful, good food and amazing staff.

Mahali Zanzibar er í Paje, Zanzibar, og er með einkaströnd, útisundlaug sem er opin allt árið og ókeypis WiFi. Hótelið býður upp á sólarverönd og útsýni yfir hafið. The biggest 2 trumps of Mahali Zanzibar were the location and most importantly, the people! Firstly, it's located in the middle of everything, right on the beach and in the middle of Paje beach overlooking the ocean, just a few min walk away from the little market and grocery store. Secondly, the staff in Mahali - every single one of them was such a sweetheart! They were very welcoming and so personal and that in the most positive meaning of this word. People were always smiley, positive and always ready to help whenever you needed it. What's more, the place itself is really nice and clean as well and as I already said it had a nice view over the beach. The room was super spacious. They made our beds, changed towels and cleaned the room every day. This is all really nice! However, more of a luxury. We would have been totally fine with the same towels since it would be better to save water :D But all in all I don't whine.. The only thing that was little funny, not that it was something I did not like, but I was not used to this, was the breakfast. The food itself was delicious and you were able to order literally everything you wanted from the menu, but the way it was organised was strange. We knew that the breakfast was included in the stay, but they did not explain how does it work, if I was able to order a specific amount of items from the menu or there was no limit. Maybe this is something I would recommend them to rethink or at least explain to guests. After we understood though, we just ordered almost everything from the menu every morning. Just the first interaction with the staff at the breakfast table was funny. :)

Be Zanzibar Boutique Hotel snýr að ströndinni og býður upp á 5 stjörnu gistirými í Mfumbwi. Það er útisundlaug, garður og verönd á staðnum. We had a wonderful stay at Be Zanzibar. Everything exceeded expectations! The owner, who is an architect, thought of every detail and curated a beautiful experience merging his experiences in Mexico and Dubai! They have multiple water sports you can do for free (clear kayak, paddle board, water bikes, etc.), and a dhow if you want to go snorkeling. The food at the restaurant, Casa Coco, was the cherry on top…great selection to choose from and the best Thai fried rice we have had at a non-Thai restaurant. Many thanks to Tarek, Alé, Yahya, and the whole Be Zanzibar family. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back again soon!

Baobab Africa Lodge Zanzibar er staðsett í Mtende, 35 km frá Zanzibar Butterfly Centre og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

TIANDE Boutique Hotel er staðsett í Pwani Mchangani, 300 metra frá Pwani Mchangani-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Sunny Villa Matemwe er með útisundlaug, verönd, veitingastað og bar í Matemwe. We cannot describe in words how much we enjoyed our time at sunny villa. Our host Samir has been helpful from start to finish in every matter and made our time comfortable. The stuff was really friendly and helpful. We had a sad feeling to leave Sunny villa because it has been the best time ever. We ate every day our lunch in Sunny Villa because the chef made delicious food😋 The room was specious, clean and it had everything. We couldn’t be happier. Best regards Anisa&Oissilat
